Dame Margaret Barbour designed the Bedale to meet the needs of jockeys: it featured a short length, a comfortable fit, vents at the back and the essential internal nylon drip band that prevented the horse's moisture from infiltrating the jacket. Made from highly functional, mid-weight (170g) waxed cotton and featuring an optional zip-up thermal lining and hood, the Bedale is the perfect jacket to wear all year round.
